This episode–from 1946–is consistently cited as one of the most terrifying programs broadcast during radio’s Golden Age. I agree… first time I listened, it made me jump. Then I played it for my daughters… and it made them jump. Good stuff if you enjoy a delicious–30 minute–scare in the comfort of your home.
