Clip from a movie made in 1976 but relevant today: 36 years later and we still deal with the same shit. I don't know that we can solve problems or cure the ills of the world by getting mad... maybe we just can't get mad enough to get it done.
I don't know.
I do know that if we all cared more for others (for those the deserve it) -- that if we all recognized and detested hypocrisy and hoisted all hypocrites on their own petard -- that if we'd learn that it doesn't matter your color, creed or sexual orientation -- that we must judge people only by the quality of their character and level of goodness they bring to those around them ---- then there would be less bitter bile poisoning our world. Perhaps there would be fewer people that think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices (a nod and thanks to Edward R. Murrow). And maybe that will make things better for all of us.
