This is not a guide to teach you how to become a writer. There are countless books, courses, articles and websites that can help you with that. They can teach you proper grammar, structure and even how to format your manuscript for publication. Those are all things that come with having a rough draft to polish and make pretty. This IS a guide to help you make actual progress and do what needs to come first—the most important step you must take if you want to write your story. Creating a first draft (the rough draft you can then begin to make pretty and polished).

I believe that businesses reflect their owners to a large degree. After all the philosophy and direction of the business is shaped by what’s in the owner’s heads and hearts. And that philosophy is not always segregated between ‘business’ and ‘personal‘ beliefs.

On my home’s kitchen wall is something my daughters have memorized — and is very important to understand about life and people. I could type it here. You’d read it, and if it resonated with you, and you really inculcated its meaning… and applied it in principle. Then you would be much improved in ways beyond telling. But no need to type it out. Here’s the picture–and it’s worth far more than a thousand words. (My hope is that all that read it comprehend the truth of it.)
